FAQ - Matto4 Q: I can't move around with my mouse. A: This is a problem of patch 1.4 and can easily be solved. Go into the control settings and press the Default settings button. That's it! Q: The Start new game button does not work. A: If you start Matto4 with devmode this problem occures if you click, besided the difficulties, on one of the leveles in the levellist. Either you restart Farcry without devmode or just avoid clicking into the levellist! Q: I completed the first level sucessfully but after loading level two, I get immediatly killed. A: Not yet 100% sure about this problem, maybe loading the first checkpoint at the second level could solve the problem, or load the last savepoint of the first level again, and do not JUMP into the hatch, but climb slowly the ladder down. Q: In the second level (Canal), I have certain walls become see through when I look at them from a certain angle, or turn on the flash light. A: Turn lighting & shadows down to medium. (this problem seems to be an ATI driver issue or so) Q: How can I get the editor cryfiles? A: Actually the cryfiles should have been in version 1.0, but I forgot to check some boxes in the setup creator. Just downlaod Matto4 Patch 1.1, all cryfiles are included there. Q: Can I play Matto4 with earlier patches than 1.4? A: I tested the final versions on Patch 1.4, no garuantee for other patches. According to some community members patch 1.33 works fine too. Q: I got stuck at the end of the Temple level. A: In the first cave room move the stone of the palette and dive through the hole. In the second cave with the broken ladder you need the box in the water to get on the rock on the wall. Just jump on the box... Q: Jack is moving too fast,sometimes erratic ,hard to control, if I fire shotgun it turns him all different ways. A: This problem seems to appear on some DualCore CPU's. 1. Rightclick the Farcry.exe in your Farcry/bin32\ folder, 2. select Properties, 3. pick compatibility , and check Run this program in compatibility mode for windows 2000. Q: My quicksave seems to make troubles. A: Yeah thats why YOU SHOULD NOT USE QUICKSAVES!
